Register to compete as WA's Representative for Rostrum Australia's National Online Speaking Competition 2026
The National Online Speaking Competition started in 2020 as a response to lockdowns during the Covid-19 pandemic, and has since become a regular event in the National Rostrum Calendar.
Presenting online is a skill that is quite different to speaking to a room full of people. Giving a competition speech is challenging enough, however presenting it online without in-person audience feedback is a step up in that challenge.
Presenting online is something that modern workers need to be adept at, either in online or hybrid meetings. We still need to be able to get our message across.
WA speakers have been successful in this competition, with Tristan Seymour (Club 5 - 2020) and Natasha Clark (Club 34 - 2025) wowing the national audience with their online presentations.
You are invited to register to participate in the National Online Speaking Competition as WA's representative. We will hold a WA Heat (or heats) to determine who will represent Rostrum Clubs of WA.
